Transformative Journey
About Me
"When you get into a tight place and everything goes against you...never give up then, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn." - Harriet Beecher Stowe
My Background
I’ve had many roles in my life and navigated many different types of transitions. I’ve changed careers and jobs, earned a law degree, had several out of state moves, sold and purchased homes, lost my father in my late 30’s, became a mother at 40, lost long lived pets and adopted new ones, gotten married and divorced, experienced significant relationship breakups, and more. Some of these have been emotionally devastating, some have been exciting, some have been positive. However, all provided opportunities for self-growth that required emotional fortitude, self awareness and support.

Each transition created an opportunity for transformation. Each choice gave me knowledge about myself that I didn’t have before, evolved me to this person I am today. Losing my father was a sacred and pivotal moment in my life. However, my biggest transformation came in navigating my husband’s severe mental health crisis. After everything that happened in that situation, nothing will ever scare me again. I like to say that this experience was like turning a high quality piece of steel (my before self) into a finely crafted samurai sword. I was heated and hammered and folded, honed, etched and polished. It forced an extreme level-up in every possible way. Not long after that personal evolution, we all had a collective one with the pandemic. I took advantage of this time to learn about astrology, Enneagram, 4 tendencies, and human design. I also channeled my cord unplugging process.

While I am no longer a licensed attorney, my law degree has greatly influenced how I think. As Iyanla Vanzant says: “what law school did was train my mind. My mind had not been trained into analytical thinking. So law school exposed me to a different way of thinking.”
I blend this practical, strategic and analytical side of myself with the spiritual, “woo woo” side in my work with clients. I love astrology and personality frameworks, such as Enneagram and 4 Tendancies.
Currently, I’m living in Portland, Oregon with my daughter and 2 cats, Nicole and King Gumball. I love knitting, kayaking, watercolor and enjoying the beautiful outdoors.
